It’s long past time we pay teachers what they deserve; Let their salaries reflect their work – Joe Biden

The debate around the salaries of teachers as compared to other public sector workers has become a national and international issue where many believe that, teachers are not being paid according to their selfless and hard work.

Buttressing the points of many, the 47th Vice President and the 2020 President elect for the United States of America H.E Joe Biden says It’s long past time teachers are paid what they deserve.

According to him, the work teachers do is of extreme national importance and their salaries should reflect that.

In another points of view, H.E Jeo Biden who defeated the incumbent President of the United States of America in the American’s 2020 Presidential elections added that, every student must be equipped to thrive in the economy of the future. Every educator needs resources to do their jobs with dignity and success. And every school needs support to reopen safely.

In Facebook posts intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh, a Ghanaian based online news portal, Joe Biden said, “We can achieve this with Dr. Miguel Cardona leading our Department of Education.  We need to make sure every child in this nation has access to a good education — regardless of zip code or disability.”
