Musician turned Politician Kwame Asare ObengĀ popularly known as A-Plus has expressed his disgust about the punishments associated with defying the Executive Instrument 164 which makes non wearing of nose mask a criminal offence.
The Executive Instrument 164 which makes non wearing of nose mask an offense has associated punishment of a fine ranging from ¢12,000 to 60,000 and a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

Expressing his disgust about the punishments associated which not abiding by the Executive Instrument 164, A Plus said that former government appointees who stole 4.000.000.000 Ghana cedis were sentenced to 6 and 5 years in prison but government want people to be sent to jail for 10 years for not wearing a nose mask.
He added that, what is very important is that government should “Jail those criminals who disgraced the whole country in the Australia visa scandal rather for 10 years”
Ā He said;
“Just last month, former appointees who were involved in the stealing of 4.000.000.000 Ghana cedis were sentenced to 6 and 5 years in prison but you want to jail people for 10 years for not wearing a nose mask. Jail those criminals who disgraced the whole country in the Australia visa scandal rather for 10 years. That is what is important”
