Jail the People who disgraced Ghana in the Australia visa scandal rather than Jail People for not wearing Nose Mask – A Plus

Musician turned Politician Kwame Asare Obeng  popularly known as A-Plus has expressed his disgust about the punishments associated with defying the Executive Instrument 164 which makes non wearing of nose mask a criminal offence.

The Executive Instrument 164 which makes non wearing of nose mask an offense has associated punishment of a fine ranging from ¢12,000 to 60,000 and a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

Expressing his disgust about the punishments associated which not abiding by the Executive Instrument 164, A Plus said that former government appointees who stole 4.000.000.000 Ghana cedis were sentenced to 6 and 5 years in prison but government want people to be sent to jail for 10 years for not wearing a nose mask.

He added that, what is very important is that government should “Jail those criminals who disgraced the whole country in the Australia visa scandal rather for 10 years”

 He said;

“Just last month, former appointees who were involved in the stealing of 4.000.000.000 Ghana cedis were sentenced to 6 and 5 years in prison but you want to jail people for 10 years for not wearing a nose mask. Jail those criminals who disgraced the whole country in the Australia visa scandal rather for 10 years. That is what is important”
