John Mahama donates PPEs to Hohoe Municipal Hospital

The former President of the Republic of Ghana who is currently the flagberear of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), H.E John Dramani Mahama, through Professor Margaret Kweku the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Hohoe constituency and a member the NDC COVID-19 Response Team has on 13th May, 2020 donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Hohoe Municipal Hospital in the Volta Region of Ghana.

According to our sources, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency Professor Margaret Kweku on behalf of the former president donated the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Hospital; thirty (30) pair of Wellington boots, a cartoon of hand gloves ( 10packs),  and twenty-eight (28) sets of overall coats, hand sanitizers, face masks and other health consumables.

In a short ceremony to officially hand over the materials to the Hospital Management, Professor Margaret Kweku, commended the health workers for putting in their best to safe lives. She also encouraged them to put in their efforts to help fight the deadly coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

The Medical Superintendent of the Hohoe Municipal Hospital who received the PPEs of behalf of the Hospital management was full of praises and extended their appreciation to the Former President. He mentioned that, the timing of the arrival of the Personal Protective Equipment was was very apt, since the coronavirus has created fear and panic among the general public and all health workers.

Present at the Occasion for the presentation of the PPEs were Hon. Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzra the chairman of the Volta Members of Parliament caucus, Hon. Benjamin Kpodo the Ho central MP, Hon. Siki Abibu the NDC Volta Regional Organizer, and the Volta Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator Hon. Emmanuel Bedzra who led the team, revealed the intents of President John Dramani Mahama on how he wants the whole of the Nation to get the Covid-19 crisis behind it.

After the donation, the team also visited both the quarantine and isolation/treatment centers in the Volta Region.
