A staunch member and a Senior Project Manager at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Freelance Journalist John Kwadzo Stevens has accused former president John Dramani Mahama saying, he only knows how to criticize positive policies under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government.
John Kwadzo Stevens has again said, one thing he love about the New Patriotic Party government is that, the leadership thinks beyond the box. According to him, the controversial Agyapa Mineral Royalties Agreement is the best bet for Ghana’s developmental agenda.
John Kwadzo Stevens, who was responding to the leader and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama on his plan to review the Agyapa deal jabs the for president and said, “anything positive, NDC will criticize it…why? Even free SHS, you criticized it and promised to review it when you return to power. However, later when you were exposed of your diabolic plan to cancel it, you said you never even meant you will cancel it but review it. What is the difference between review and cancel per NDC dictionary?”
“Today you want to also review Agyapa! But who even assured you of getting another opportunity to enter the Flagstaff house again? Hope you haven’t forgotten the compilation of the New Voters register, where Togolese and Burkinabe’s couldn’t register as usual?” He explained.
Explaining further, he indicated that, one of the rationales for the transaction is to create and launch Africa’s first gold royalty company and showcase Ghana as the premier destination for gold assets and resource mining, whilst raising non debt funding for capital investment.
John Kwadzo Stevens is therefore asking John Dramani Mahama to go to the Parliament if Ghana for better understanding of the Agyapa Mineral Royalties Agreement rather than displaying his ignorant in public. “If you don’t understand, go to parliament and get the facts” He told.
