John Mahama Reacts to Death of Jerry John Rawlings

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress has reacted to the death of former President Jerry John Rawlings.
Former President Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings passed on in the early hours of Thursday 12th November, 2020 passed on at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital where he was receiving treatment for Covid-19.
Reacting to the death of former President Jerry John Rawlings, the leader of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama indicated that he has suspended his tour of the Ashanti Region due to the death of the founder of party.
John Dramani Mahama has also directed that all Campaigns of the National Democratic Congress be suspended following news of the passing of the Party’s Founder.
In a Facebook post, John Dramani Mahama wrote;
“I have announced the suspension of my tour of the Ashanti Region and all NDC campaigns across the country following news of the passing of our Founder and former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings. May his soul rest in peace.”
