John Mahama unveils Anti-Corruption Drive Team to investigate corruption
Mahama Anti-corruption Team
Ghana’s President-elect, H.E. John Dramani Mahama has unveiled his Anti-Corruption Drive Team to investigate corruption.
This step taken by John Mahama is a fulfillment of his promise to Ghanaians under the “Operation Recover All Loot” (ORAL) pledge stated in his campaign message to the nation before the 2024 General Elections.
Under the anti-corruption programme, “ORAL”, His Excellency made it crystal clear that individuals and institutions will be investigated and held accountable for any looting of state funds. It was also stated that such persons will be tasked to vomit all they took from the state unlawfully. The recovered monies will be used for remarkable projects that will serve many not few taxpayers.
Below is the release dated December 18, 2024 signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson for Mahama Transition Team. The release lists the names of the members to serve on the team for the transparency and end of dictatorship Ghanaians called for.
