JUST IN: MP elect for Keta Constituency has been attacked by unknown gunmen

The Member of Parliament elect for the Keta Constituency, Hon Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey has been attacked by unknown gunmen at his Private Residence at Anlo Afiadenyigba in Volta region this dawn.

According to information available to Coverghana Media Network (Coverghana.com.gh), unknown gunmen numbering ten (10) have attacked the National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament elect for the Keta Constituency and his family.

Our sources revealed that, the attacked on Kwame Dzidzorli Gakpey and his family occurred around 1:00am today at his  Afiadenyigba residence, where he was beaten including his mother and others.

Further information picked by us disclosed that, a total of seven (7) members of his household have been attacked by the armed men.

The gunmen after beaten him up made away with some unknown amount of cash.

Kwame Dzidzorli Gakpey is in a critical conditions receiving treatment at the Keta Municipal Hospital in the Volta region of Ghana.

The reason for the attack so far is unknown. We shall investigate that, and update the public sooner.
