Kenyan paraplegic, Abel Kirwa bags BSc in Library and Information Science

Kenyan paraplegic, Abel Kirwa
A Kenyan paraplegic, Abel Kirwa beats all odds to bag a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Library and Information Science from the University of Kenyatta.
Abel’s journey toward achieving this feat was splendid type. He never gave up despite his disabled condition.
He sailed through the thongs to lift what his heart desires. Indeed, disability is not inability. His struggles fetched it big.
The Kenyan “passionate disability advocate,” Abel Kirwa said on World Disability Day that
“Disability is a brave struggle, it is the courage to persevere and endure in the face of adversity. We all have a part to play in creating a more inclusive society.”
“This #WorldDisabilityday, let us come together and foster a system that is just, equitable, and accessible for all.”
Congratulations to Abel Kirwa for not giving up on his dream and encouraging other disabled persons to be hardworking in order to change the normal narration about persons with disability.
