The young brilliant entrepreneur Jivana Danquah has graduated with first-class honour from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Jivana Danquah is believed to be in her late 20s. She hails from Anum in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Jivana is a very hardworking lady who managed her studies with selling Roselle juice (Sobolo drink) and other beverages to customers both in and outside the hostels right from Level 200 to Level 400 to support her academics.
Jivana defied all odds to prove that working to support your education will not make you a drop-out as a lot of people perceives.
Her combined success story depicts that if you forget your focus and direction along the way of defining yourself, then a shiver will run down your spine making failure to grips you.
Jivana graduated as a Geography student with First-class honour.
Currently, Jivana Danquah is a Teaching Assistant (TA) and working hard to break more boundaries.
During an interview meant to understand her journey and success, she said back in KNUST as a student, she trades Sobolo, pastries, masked-kenkey, and ginger drinks.
Speaking about how she chalked success in both academics and business, she said “I managed my time well” and followed my passion to fund my education.
Answering how she sailed in her academic journey, she disclosed that her personal studies timetable way back has business as one of her “lessons” so she always dedicated time to that.
Jivana opened up on how she started her business. She said her business commenced in 2020, the COVID-19 era at home, and continued on campus, KNUST after the pandemic dust settled.
“Money is the motivation. I think money is enough to motivate me to work hard because, the harder I work, the more money I get.” In the long run, my education business matters, she added.
On her business challenges and sailing through, she said the capital to start the business was a challenge. Also, winning the trust was one of her greatest headaches in establishing her business.
According to T A Jivana Danquah, she opted for the business in order not to run out of money.
Advising, she said, “Push all your agendas together if that is what you want”. Follow your passion to fuel all the dreams you have.
