KNUST wins the 9th Ghana Universities Debate Championship

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has won the 9th Ghana Universities Debate Championship.

The University had 3 teams out of 4 teams in the finals and eventually won much coveted National Trophy while securing the 2nd and 3rd Place positions as wellas the Novice category.

Master Kojo Opoku Acheampong and Furgurson Awuni won the main trophy while Jesse Ntiri and Matthew Agyapong won the novice catgory.

KNUST’s impressive win makes them a 6-time champion, having previously won in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, and now in 2023, out of the 9 editions of the Ghana Universities Debate Championship.
