Kwame Nkrumah memorial park charges

The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park has been officially opened after many years of renovations and upgrades of the site.

Over the years, the museum and memorial park were in a bad state making the site unattractive for tourists.

After years (2 years) of redeveloping and renovations, the tourist site has been remodeled to gain a qualified stand which will attract thousands of tourists to the site.

The park, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park is now open to the general public for use.

The park is located on the outskirts of Accra, along the coast.

However, the management of the park has detailed the cost of accessing the site.

The park has been opened to the public on 11th July 2023. However, the management let out the working hours bounding the park.

The park will be open for use between the hours of 8:30 am – 11:00 pm from Monday – Sunday.

Brief About Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park

The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park was established by the late Head of State, J.J Rawlings in 1990 and opened officially to the general public after two (2) years, 1992.

Due to the bad state of the park, it was closed for refurbishment and later commissioned for public use.

The park was commissioned formerly on 4th July 2023 by H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo. It was closed later for a full completion.

On the 11th of July 2023, the Park was opened to the general public for use.
