He also added that it’s disheartening to witness the politicization of such a poignant occasion, as the essence of tradition and community unity is overshadowed by partisan agendas.
The chairman argued that the late MP would have been fully honored if the funeral activities were carried out at Najero, where he was born and even lived in his last days before his sudden demise in Tamale.

To him, they will have seen a lot of traditions on display. There, the family and elders will also feel belong. But in their quest to score political points desperately, the NDC had hijacked the entire process and decided to have the funeral performed at Kpandai where they will get the numbers they need to cheer their flagbearer and Najero only serves as a graveyard where the late MP remains will only be buried.

The family and elders of Najero will only become spectators in a funeral they could have control ones NDC is bent on carrying it out in Kpandai.
Chairman Kennedy expressed saying that what even came as a shocker to him was when the current MP, Nsalah refused to serve as the chairman of the funeral planning committee for the late MP’s funeral.

In conclusion, Chairman Kennedy asserted that it is quite evident that NDC is only interested in using the late MP’s funeral to project their invited flag bearer at Kpandai where the population is high which he sees as unfortunate. He added that we all pause for a moment, and in the silence of our hearts, honor the cherished memory of the late Kpandai MP.

Chairman Kennedy’s impassioned plea echoes the depth of their sorrow and the fervor of their respect. Amidst the tumult of controversy, his voice rings out like a clarion call, urging others to embrace the fragility of life and the solemnity of death.

For the need to preserve tradition and the respect Chairman Kennedy has for tradition and culture, he will always find a way to let it stand tall for the benefit of society.
