Mafi-Kumase: Assembly member aspirant, Dzidzinyo Akpeke wishes BECE candidates and promises IT skills training
The Youth activist and immediate aspiring Assembly Member aspirant Mafi Kumase Electoral Area, Volta Region, Mr. Dzidzinyo Akpeke affectionately called Rolex has extended his best wishes to candidates who are currently (2023) sitting for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) across the country specifically those within his juridiction.
Mr. Dzidzinyo Akpeke wished the candidates them loads of luck and positive energy as they sit for their first external examination.
Further, he advised the candidates to remember to stay calm, manage their time effectively, and approach each question with a clear mind.
Admonishing, he told them (candidates) to trust in their preparation, believe in their capabilities, and let their hard work shine through.
During the course of wishing them best of luck in the ongoing examination, he hinted about engaging students in skills training.
The Youth Activist, Mr. Dzidzinyo explained that the programme would be undertaken in the Mafi Kumase Electoral Area, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Disclosing the the purpose of the programme, he said the programme will equip the students in IT skills.
He also added that his decision to undertake the project was informed by the skyrocketing need of IT personnel in this growing technological age.
Tasks in this technological era are complex performing tasks hence, with IT skills training, those tasks can be performed within seconds.
Moreover, he explained that as the IT industry is trying to touch every aspect of life to make it more simple, he deems it vital to throw his support to students in his electoral area by assisting them to acquire the needed IT skills.
Unveiling his success plan for the project, IT skills training in Mafi-Kumase Electoral Area, Volta Region, Mr. Akpeke said he is in talks with some IT Companies, Stakeholders in Mafi Kumase as well as Education Officers to foster collaborative means of getting all the graduating pupils in the area to benefit from the programme.
