The Former President and 2024 flag bearer of NDC, John Dramani Mahama has donated to support Dodowa Hospital to mark his 65th birthday.

The hospital, Shai Osudoko District Hospital in Dodowa was inaugurated in 2016 by John Mahama where he shared the joy of his 65th birthday with the patients, staff and management.

Taking to social media, he updated on the visit saying
“In response to a request received on Monday, Lordina and I presented two modern incubators, two phototherapy machines, and four CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machines to the facility.

“We also served both patients and the staff with a hot birthday meal and donated food and non-food items to the hospital.

“Lordina and I also handed over school bags with exercise books, pencils, and crayons to the children.

“I congratulated the Medical Director, Dr. Kennedy T. C. Brightson, and his team for their sense of professionalism, patient care and the maintenance of the facility almost eight years after its inauguration.

“I am happy to return to my favourite hospital environment to celebrate my 65th birthday. This was the first of six district hospitals to be completed under my government’s initiative to build first-class health facilities in every district to bring quality healthcare closer to Ghanaians.
