Main prizes for finalists and semifinalists of NSMQ 2022
National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) trophy
Primetime has released main prizes to finalists and semifinalists for the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2022 edition.
According to the organizers of this year’s competition, each finalists, semifinalists, their schools and teachers have special prizes aside the trophy.
Primetime explained that, aside from the NSMQ Trophy and bragging rights, finalists and semifinalists have some “juicy” prize packages to vie for, courtesy of the Ghana Education Service & Absa Bank Ghana.

Disclosing the information, management said, the winner of the NSMQ 2022 will receive a cash prize of GH¢70,000, first runner-up (second position) will receive a cash prize of GH¢50,000 while the second runner-up (third position) goes home with GH¢35,000.
Meanwhile, the semifinalists will receive a cash prize of GH¢8,000. This means that, all the six (6) semifinalists who would not progress to the Grand Finale would receive a prize package of GH¢8,000 to be shared to school, contestants and teachers.
School prize is sponsored by the Ghana Education Service (GES) while teachers and contestants prize sponsored by Absa Bank Ghana.
The 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is scheduled to commence on Monday, 10th October, 2022 to 26th October, 2022.
