Management of NIA suspends major Registration Services; Check details

The Management of National Identification Authority (NIA) has suspended its registration Services.

In a notice intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh, the National Identification Authority has asked the members of the public to note that all activities relating to registration of the citizenry have been suspended until further notice.

Though, the reason for the suspension of Registration Services has not been disclosed by NIA, an IT specialist and a Former worker at NIA Yayra Koku believes that, the suspension was as a result of invasion of Covid-19 pandemic due to poor handling of safety protocols.

According to the National Identification Authority, the Registration Services below have been suspended until further notice.

NIA noted that, members of the public will be informed when services resume. Management regrets any inconveniences that will be caused by this decision.
