Personal Life

On April 10, 1990, Maren Larae Morris was born in Arlington, Texas, in the United States. Her early exposure to a variety of musical genres, along with her natural skill, sparked her passion for music.

Morris started playing at neighborhood clubs and developing her songwriting abilities, which laid the groundwork for her success in the future. Maren Morris relocated to Nashville, the center of the country music industry, in her late teens. In 2005, she self-released her debut album, “Walk On,” which featured her unique vocal and compositional skills. Industry insiders took notice of the record, which also resulted in the release of her self-titled EP, “Maren Morris,” in 2015.

Morris’s promise was noticed by Columbia Nashville, who signed her to a recording and publishing deal. “Hero,” her maiden studio album on a major label, was released in 2016. Number one hits from the album included the inspiring title tune “Girl” and the melancholic “The Bones.” Morris’s sixth studio album, “Humble Quest,” was also released in 2022 and broke Guinness World Records when it came to streaming on Amazon Music.

Greg Morris: Greg, Maren’s father, has had a big impact on her life. He was the owner and operator of the Maren Karsen Aveda Hair Salon in Arlington, Texas, together with his spouse Kellie.The fact that the salon is still open today is evidence of their commitment and diligence.
