Martin Amidu’s Posture is desecrating the office of the Special Prosecutor – Manasseh Azure Awuni

Renowned freelance investigative journalist Manasseh Azuri Awuni says the Special Prosecutor’s office is being desecrated by Mr. Martin Amidu.
According to Mr. Manasseh Azure Awuni, Mr. Martin Amidu who is the first special Prosecutor’s posture is very disturbing and through that, he is desecrating the office of the special Prosecutor.
It could be recalled that that the Government of Ghana under the leadership of President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo on February 23, 2018 sworn Martin A.B.K. Amidu into office as special Prosecutor following the established the office of the special Prosecutor through a law passed passed in 2017.
Criticising Mr. Amidu’s posture as the special Prosecutor, Manasseh Azure Awuni in a Facebook post wrote:
“Martin Amidu’s posture is extremely disturbing. There’s nothing “special” about this. The office is being desecrated.

Meek A. Akudago; It’s only in Ghana that an independent Special Prosecutor asks alleged thieves and corrupt officials to come for an interrogation! Martin Amidu is honestly embarrassing the office that was genuinely created to fight corruption!
Nene Odehe Odehe; He himself is a desecration. Not just the office!
He’s a a Ghanaian example of Trump, who feels, talks, carries himself about as bossy, hard, militant, a bully, holier than everyone else, a saint. But people like that always suffer the most humiliating end.
Amadu Hafizu; When someone appointed to pick scores starts acting on reasons he is appointed, the issues of neutrality is thrown to the pigs. He is working based on his emotions rather than facts. The next time someone is going to be appointed to such a delicate office, he or she needs to be examined mentally to avoid future crazy actions.
Ayamba Ali Dauda; This man Martin Amidu do not even have a toilet facility named after him in Bawku, where he is bred. What he does best is to keep hunting those he is bitter with, and those with disfigured brains hence lack of understanding falls for this man.
Ohene Essel Oheek; The man is bitter. He might be suffering from some strange illness that we might not know. He did write similar epistles in 2016 and succeeded meanwhile when he appeared before the vetting committee he was fumbling with evidence to buttress what he said in 2016. Now he’s on the same path . He needs psychiatric examination, my suggestion.
Yadman Dre Dee; Mr. Martin Amidu should finish work on the Agyapa Deal and Stop the Political acrobatics. The Rotten Agyapa Deal is the matter on the table.He should Stop trying to shift our focus from the Damning Agyapa Deal Report and finish the work on the deal…The Agyapa is full of Gargantuan Corruption matters….
