The Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Adutwum had successfully launched the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET).
The launch, which took place at the Kumasi Technical University, Adako-Jachie on April 12, 2022 is a way of promoting Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) across the country.
The Minister also inaugurated the Ghana-China project on the rehabilitation and upgrading of Technical Universities and Technical Institutes.
The project is expected to include retooling, refurbishing and providing workshops for 24 selected Technical Universities and Institutions.
Dr. Yaw Adutwum indicated as part of his speech, that the government is committed to promoting TVET to ensure the youth are equipped with skills and expertise needed in the industry.
