Ministry of Education refutes claims of Teachers and Nurses’ Trainee allowance cancellation

The Ministry of Education has issued a strong response dismissing reports that the allowances for Teachers and Nurses’ Trainees have been terminated.
In an official statement, the Ministry firmly rejected these claims, stating that they are baseless and entirely false.
It emphasized that there are no plans whatsoever to cancel or discontinue these allowances.
The Minister for Education, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, was specifically mentioned in the statement to clarify that any statement attributed to him regarding the cancellation of these allowances is completely untrue.
“The allegation that the Minister for Education, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, made statements about the termination of allowances for teachers and nursing students is unequivocally false and without any basis. The Ministry of Education categorically denies such claims and has no intention of discontinuing these allowances.”
