A footsoldier of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and social media communications team member of the party Mr. Akugri Rashid has accused the Minority Members of Parliament on the Appointments Committee of Parliament for failing Samuel Nartey George.

According to the Former TEIN President of Navrongo Nursing Training School in the Upper East Region, the NDC MPs on the Appointments Committee has disappoint the party and their colleague Hon. Samuel Nartey George (Sam George) on approval of some ministerial nominees.

The Party’s grassroot member from Bawku in thr Upper East Region said, it’s a gross disappointment for the Minority Caucus to reject three of President Akufo Addo’s ministerial nominees especially the Information Minister-designate, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Agriculture Minister-designate Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto over their disrespect to the Appointments Committee while the likes of Hon. Kan Daapah, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul and Hon. Ambrose Derry who directed their party boys to slap a sitting MP thus; Hon. Sam George and killed innocent Ghanaians without any justifiable reasons have been approved unanimously to go and do more.

He believes that, the decision taken by the NDC MPs on the Committee is shameful and sad time for NDC and the grassroot members.
