The three (3) Pre-tertiary Teacher Unions, GNAT, NAGRAT, and CCT-GH have updated their members on the negotiation process with the government. The Teacher Unions disclosed that they are angry with the government because nothing better came from negotiation with them.
After a long wait from the Pre-tertiary Teacher Unions, they have finally updated their members on the outcome of the meeting with the government concerning their negotiations.
The said release date is April 15, 2024, signed by the three (3) leaders of the Pre-tertiary Teacher Unions.

PRESS STATEMENT BY THE PRE-TERTIARY TEACHER UNIONS
We write with the highest level of disappointment the lacklustre attitude of the Government to the negotiations with regards to the Conditions of Service of the Ghanaian Teacher since the strike was called off.

All this while, our negotiations have not achieved any meaningful outcome. More disappointing is the fact that the Government Team does not seem to have the requisite mandate to respond adequately to our demands.
In the light of the above situation, we will like to caution the general public and the government that in the event of any brouhaha at the Pre-tertiary level, Teacher Union Leaders must not be blamed.
