Mother who denied son education “PRESEC” now agrees; Eduwatch promises to support boy financially

Eduwatch Executive Director Mr. Kofi Asare has updated on the Mother who denied her son education based on her new faith news. He announced that the mother has agreed for the son to purse his education at PRESEC now. Eduwatch also promised to support the boy financially.

Today, 8th January, 2024 the Executive Director of Eduwatch, Mr. Kofi Asare has updated on the said subject matter with ear/eye etching outcome.
In his update today, he said through his post, he appealed to the said mother’s church, God’s New Kingdom to convince the mum to enrol the boy.
“A church member, Minister of Education, Chief Director of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection immediately got in touch.
“My team has since been working closely with all actors to secure the boy’s education rights,” he disclosed.
He also detailed that Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Headmaster and leadership of PRESEC, the boy’s parents, Ato Buju (CHRAJ Tema), the church, and the Department of Social Welfare provided counseling and further investigations on a holiday.
The right works went on for the success they all dreamt of.
“I am happy to announce that this afternoon, after a very successful meeting with the Headmaster and leadership of Presec, Legon, we formally enrolled the boy,” Kofi Asare announces the good news.
He went on to share the excitement that filled the face and heart of the mother of the boy, Evans.
“The mother is not just excited, but also happy her church has no objection to the boy’s education.”
“The mother wishes to clarify that, it was her personal decision of faith not to enroll, and not a decision of the church, as being portrayed by a section of the media,” he stressed.
Eduwatch and the entire forces rallying for the success of their toil have congratulated the mother of Evans for changing her mind. They also appreciate the role the church played in joining hands to campaign for education.
Supporting Evans, “the teachers at Community 11 Basic School Complex, Tema for buying some of his items for school.”
Mr. Kofi Asare added that “Eduwatch has taken care of the rest” of the bills for Evans as he has joined PRESEC. The boy has been admitted to read Science.
Eduwatch promised to “continue to support the boy financially to enable him to realize his dream of becoming a doctor by 2033.”
