Workers under the Nation builders Corps ( NABCO) have taken to the streets Thursday, 18th August, 2022 to express their anger towards the government for not paying what is due them.

Leaders NABCO of trainees have constantly been in the media agitating over their unpaid monthly stipends for over 10 months but haven’t received any positive response from government.

The Nation Builders Corps program known as NABCO was introduced in 2018 by the Akufo-Addo led Government to help address and possibly resolve graduate Unemployment issues in the country. The initiative was rolled out in 6 module so and had a lot of Ghanaian youth jumping in on the opportunity.

The NABCO initiative has rather become a different story with the delay in payment of monthly stipends and subsequently non payment of workers for over 10 months.

The aggrieved NABCO workers have therefore embarked on this March today to demand for the money owed them by the government. Their March’s end point was the Jubilee House where they presented their petition to the President.
