Nana Ama McBrown is a popular Ghanaian actress who is known for the many movies she has featured in. She has become a household names in the Ghanaian entertainment industry as she has been the subject of many controversies in the industry.
McBrown was born to Ghanaian parents on 15th August 1977 in Ghana, She is currently 44 years old.

Nana Ama had her primary school education at St. Peter’s International Residential School, later moved on to Minnesota International and then to Central International.
McBrown continued to Kwadaso L.A. J.S.S but she ended up as a J.S.S dropout and could not sit for the Basic Education Certificate Exams, B.E.C.E.

McBrown started her career when she responded to a radio audition request from Miracle Films where she was initially employed to work in costuming but was later offered the lead role to act ok the descretion of Mr. Samuel Nyamekye who was the movie director who thought she was more suitable for acting.
Her career was launched when her debut film, That Day, was released in 2001. She was cast in the TV series Tentacles thanks to her performance in That Day.

Following her accident some years ago in which she almost lost her arm, the actress recently took some time off her show on UTv to undergo surgery to keep her hand in shape. She has also openly said that she has undergone liposuction, a surgery for women to help enhance their body.
