“NDC will win back the 16 lost Parliamentary seats in the Central Region” – John Dramani Mahama

The flagbearer for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC John Dramani Mahama says the party will win back the 16 Parliamentary seats they lost in the Central Region in this year’s Presidential and Parliamentary election.

Speaking in an interview on class 93.1 FM, John Dramani Mahama indicated that he is optimistic that the National Democratic Congress which he leads will win back all the Parliamentary seats they lost to the New Patriotic Party in the 2016 General Election.

According to John Mahama, the NDC lost sixteen (16) Parliamentary seats in the 2016 elections leaving them with only four (4) seats in the Central Region of Ghana.

John Dramani Mahama during the interview said;

Most of the 16 seats we’re likely to claw back. When I look at the quality of the Parliamentary candidate we have presented and we look at the issues on the ground, we’re likely to claw them back and so we will treat the Central Region as a special case.
