The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced new date and centres for the 2021 supplementary promotion examination for teachers and other GES staff.
DATE FOR THE EXAMINATION
According to the Ghana Education Service, the supplementary promotion examination is scheduled to take place on Friday, 26th March, 2021 accros the country.

TIME FOR THE EXAMINATION
The promotion examination is scheduled to start at exactly 9:00am across all the examination centre in the country.
EXAMINATION CENTRES
The examination centres are classified under four (4) major zones. These are; Ashanti Zone, Central Zone, Greater Accra Zone and Northern Zone. Each of the zones has one examination centre.

ASHANTI ZONE
The Ashanti Zone includes Ashanti, Ahafo, Bono and Bono East Regions. The examination centre for Ashanti Zone is Wesley College of Education, Kumasi.
CENTRAL ZONE
The Central Zone is made up of Central, Western and Western North Regions. The Examination Centre for Central Zone is New Examination Centre, University of Cape Coast.

GREATER ACCRA ZONE
The Greater Accra Zone consists of Eastern, Greater Accra, Oti and Volta Regions. The Examination Centre is Accra College of Education, Accra.
NORTHERN ZONE
The Northern Zone includes Upper East, Upper West, Northern, North East and Savanna Regions. Tamale College of Education is the examination centre for the Ashanti Zone.
GES releases new procedures for inter regional transfer of teachers
In a statement signed by the Director of HRMD Mrs. Adjoa Van Vicker, any candidate who may have an issue regarding the details of the promotion examination should contact the Regional Office before 20th March, 2021 for redress.
