North Tongu constituency NDC Executives engage communities on 2024 campaign team and subcommittees formation
The North Tongu Constituency Executives, led by Chairman Hon. C. K Akaho-Tay, held a successful community engagement session to deliberate on the 2024 campaign team and formation of campaign subcommittees. This activities took place on July 14, 2024 in some towns.
The meeting was divided into two parts -A constituency Executive meeting to deliberate on the 2024 campaign team and formation of campaign subcommittees, and a community session with residents of Torgorme, Alabonu, Nyiflakpo, Klamadaboe, and Azagonorkorpe.
The community session provided a platform for residents to share concerns and suggestions on prosecuting the 2024 campaign aimed at recording a resounding victory for H.E John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer, and Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), Parliamentary Candidate respectively. The meeting was well-attended, despite short notice, and the executives expressed gratitude to the community for their participation.
Before the community session, the Constituency Secretary presented a report on the activities of the constituency executives since their election in 2022. The report highlighted the executives’ achievements, challenges, and plans, providing a comprehensive update on the constituency’s progress.
Chairman Hon. C.K Akaho-Tay thanked the constituents for their input and assured them of the party’s commitment to addressing their concerns. Heartfelt appreciation to colleague constituency executives for taking time off their busy schedules to attend this all-important meeting.
This engagement marks a significant step in strengthening the party’s connection with the community and fostering a united approach to the 2024 campaign.
