NTC releases new date for 2023 Licensure Exams registration

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced the new date for the 2023 Licensure Exams registration.

According to the letter released by the office of the Registrar, Dr. Christian Opoku-Addai, the new crop of trained teachers (Degree holders) will sit for their licensure exams in September this year, 2023.

However, before the exam commences in September, all the training institutions have to upload the particulars of qualified graduates on the National Teaching Council’s portal.

NTC 2023 INDEXING PARTICULARS

The Council has instructed the various training institutions, not the prospective teachers to upload the particulars of qualified graduates on the National Teaching Council’s portal (indexing.ntc.gov.gh) with the following headings in an Excel format:

1. Index Number
2. Surname
3. Middle Name
4. First Name
5. Date of Birth
6. Sex
7. Programme
8. Programme Qualification
9. Year of Admission
10. Year of Graduation
11. Class
12. Email address
13. Telephone number

The letter has it that the deadline for the upload is not later than the 30th of June 2023 and the registration of students for the examination starts on the 1st of July 2023.
