NTC Releases Timetable for Licensing and Registration of Qualified Teachers

Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) has released Timetable for Licensing and Registration of Qualified Teachers across the country.
In a letter signed by the Registrar of National Teaching Council Christian Addai-Poku (PhD) dated 18th June, 2021 to the Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), the Council sought to engage Regional and District Directors to prepare for the exercise.
Christian Addai-Poku (PhD) explained that, as part of processes for teacher professionalism, the National Teaching Council is issuing license to all qualified teachers in both public and private schools in Ghana.
According to the Council, teachers in Greater Accra and Central Regions have been issued with Teachers professional license.
In order to complete the process, the Council will be engaging the Regional and District Directors in the remaining fourteen (14) regions to prepare the ground for the main exercise to commence.
The schedule below indicates the period within which the licensing exercise will take place in each region.
