Emmanuel Boakye Yiadom became the President of NUGS in 2021 and has been steering the affairs of the Union till date.

At the just ended NUGS Congress at GNAT Village, Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, it has emerged that, the Union is facing a possible division once again. This, many well meaning Ghanaians and student leaders have described as disturbing.

The Administrator, in an attempt to get issues resolved as soon as possible, has indicated that he has a lot of people to call.

Dennis Appiah Larbi-Ampofo elected NUGS President

He said, “I have people to call paaaaoooo. From Edem Agbana to Atuahene to Dennis Appiah Larbi to Julian M. Yaw Cobbinah to Courage Nobi to Tinkaro Asare Osei.”

NUGS had once faced a divided National front and it took the intervention of some few to get it back to a united front in 2019.
