Over 8,000 ‘Graduate teachers’ fail October 2020 Licensure Examination

A total of 8,442 graduate teachers have failed the October 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) across the Country.

In a released published by the National Teaching Council (NTC), a total of 8,442 out of 27, 455 prospective teachers who sad for the Examination have failed representing 30.7% .

In the October 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination, a total of
27,455 Candidates sat for the Examination.

Total pass

Out of the 27,455 Candidates who wrote the examination, a total of 19,013 representing 69.3% have passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination.

Withheld results

An announced results of some candidates have been withheld by the National Teaching Council pending investigation.

Date for checking Results

According to the National Teaching Council (NTC), the results of October 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) will be released on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Checking of Results

The Council has indicated that, all candidates Can check their results from the NTC online portal at exam.ntc.gov-gh by using either their pins given during registration or their examination index numbers using their phone numbers.

Printing of Results

Candidates are advised to print their provisional certificates after checking Results.
