A female past student of Sogakofe Senior High School (SOGASCO) in the Volta Region has graduated as a valedictorian at Jasikan College of Education (JASICO).

Madam Emenefa Mordzifa graduated with a CGPA of 3.72 making her stand as the valedictorian among the four (4) First Class graduates at the 14th congregation.

The valedictorian was a product of Sogakofe Senior High School (SOGASCO) in the year 2018. At SOGASCO, she was the Girls’ Perfect for the Day students.

The success story of Madam Mordzifa reflects that indeed the journey to success is not smooth. She laced leadership roles with academic work and chalked the success she always dreamt of.

Delivering her speech at the ceremony on 30th September 2023, she showered and praised not only one success but also her fellow graduates.

“As intellectuals, who are going to turn the fortunes of many Ghanaian learners and the nation at large, we have been equipped with a unique set of skills and knowledge that will enable us to shape the minds and hearts of the next generation,” she echoed.

Empowering her colleagues for the outside world, she added “As we embark on this noble profession, let us never forget the impact we can have on the lives of our students.”

“Each child we teach is a precious individual, with dreams, aspirations, and the potential to change the world.

“Let us be their mentors, their advocates, and their guiding lights. Let us create safe spaces where they can grow. learn, and thrive.”
