Hon. John-Peter Amewu, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Hohoe constituency and Railway Development Minister has completed the Hohoe Basketball Court project for his constituency.
Hon. John-Peter Amewu announced on April 13, 2024 “that the basketball court within the Hohoe Sports Complex has been completed, marking a significant milestone in my efforts to promote youth development through sports.”
He added “This court will serve as a hub for nurturing basketball talent in Hohoe and its environs.

“In collaboration with local basketball clubs, we are initiating the formation of an all-star team, the Hohoe United Basketball Club, projected to compete nationally and bringing honor and unity to our community,” he explained.
“Building on the success of our division-1 football team (Hohoe United Football Club), which currently sits in the top 4 of the league, I am committed to assembling a highly skilled basketball team that reflects our dedication to excellence in sports.
“My commitment to cultivating athletic prowess in Hohoe remains a paramount focus of my agenda of making Hohoe great.”
