The Ghana Police Service has withdrawn all the criminal Charges filled against the National vice chairman for the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Said Sinare.

It could be recalled that a former employee of the NDC’s National Vice Chairman, Alhaji Said Sanaire reported him to the police accusing him of giving out weapons which is he intends to use to intimidate NPP supporters in the Northern Region during the upcoming December Presidential election.

Alhaji Sinare and Mr. Tahiru Ahmed who is the NDC’s Constituency chairman for Ayawaso North were charged with conspiracy to commit crime and possession of firearms without lawful authority.

However, the court case against Alhaji Sinare was discontinued today as his lawyer Mr Abraham Amaliba, told journalists after the proceedings that charges that were brought to court against his client were not well founded and that was why the prosecution withdrew it and Alhaji Said Sinare is now a free man.
