PRESEC Old Student with 5As in WASSCE turns fuel attendant
A brainiac, 21 years from PRESEC, Darko Benjamin has turned into a fuel attendant despite chalking 5As and 3Bs from WASSCE.
One of Ghana’s leading Senior High Schools, Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC) has produced a 21-year-old graduate with 5As but poverty has pushed him to work as a fuel attendant at the detriment of furthering his education to become his dream Medical Doctor /or Biotechnologist.
Darko Benjamin hails from Bepowase close to Asuyaa in the Akuapem North Municipality, Eastern Region.
He completed PRESEC in 2021 with 5As and 3Bs but due to the meager income his father generates from his farming and tailoring profession, sponsoring his son to further his education to become a Medical Doctor and Biotechnologist seems to have been forgotten.
The news came after his father, Kwabena Gyewu, a farmer and tailor told the GHOneNews about the eating-up challenge he is facing since then.
He added that despite his wish to support his brilliant son’s education, his income is nothing to write home to pay for university fees.
