Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, another potential candidate for the 2024 Republican nomination, offered well wishes for President Biden’s swift recovery while highlighting his concerns about the impact of Biden’s policies on the United States.

President Biden’s most recent physical examination occurred in February, with White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor confirming his fitness for duty.

Although the President walks with a “stiffened gait” due to spine wear and tear and foot nerve damage, his condition remained unchanged from a previous evaluation in November 2021.

President Biden joins a list of predecessors who have experienced public falls, including President Barack Obama, who tripped while ascending stairs at a 2012 event, and President Gerald Ford, who stumbled down the stairs of Air Force One in 1975.
