Prof Gabriel Dwomoh appointed as Vice Chancellor of Kumasi Technical University
Professor Gabriel Dwomoh has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Kumasi Technical University for a Four Year -Term with effect from 1st September to 31st August 2027.
He joined Kumasi Technical University in 2009 as lecturer in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship.
He was promoted as Senior lecturer and appointed to Head the then Institute of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development as the Director from January 2012 through to September 2016.
He further moved to Head the Institute of Research Innovation and Development and subsequently as Director of International affairs Institutional Linkages.
He was Instrumental in the Institute of Research Innovation and Development being registered as a recognized and approved center for MMDAs award government.
He also led to the signing of MoUs with several District Assemblies for Joint proposal funding
A statement was issued by the University’s Relations Office which stated,
“It is announced for the information of members of staff, students, the University community and the General Public, that the Governing Council of the University, at it’s 40th (Special ) meeting held on Tuesday, 15th August 2023, accepted the report of the search committee for appointment of Vice Chancellor for the University ;and appointed Professor Gabriel Dwomoh, Professor of Management, as the Vice Chancellor, for a Four- Year Term, with effect from 1st September 2023 to 31st August 2027.”
