Rainstorm destroys Kparekpare M/A basic school buildings; Makes students stranded [+Video]

A heavy rainstorm has destroyed Kparekpare Municipal Assembly Basic School buildings in the Krachi East Municipal Assembly of the Oti Region, Coverghana.com.gh has gathered.

The rainstorm which occured within the Krachi East Municipal Assembly on Friday, 26th March, 2021 has caused a great havoc by destroying major buildings at Kparekpare and its neighbouring communities.

The people of Kparekpare and its neighbouring communities are put into a great shock after rainstorm raised down school buildings, ripped off roofs of other buildings in the area making them stranded.

The affected buildings includes parts of the school building both JHS and Primary and individual buildings within the municipality.

Speaking to some affected residents of the area, they said, they’re disturbed about this evenings down poor and the effects it caused them.

Fortunately, there has been no casualties during the disaster.

The management Kparekpare M/A Basic School and the entire residents of the area are calling on the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Government, citizens, philanthropists etc. to quickly come to their aid.
