Ronaldo is officially the highest goal-scorer of all time

Cristiano Ronaldo, has broken a 66 years record to become the highest goal scorer in the world football both for country and club, surpassing Josef Bican, who held the position for some decades now.

Despite his age, the Juventus striker has not being slowing down in his goal scoring dream, as he netted against Serie A giant Napoli, on Wednesday 20th January, to see his team Juventus, lift the Italian Super Cup.

The five times Ballon d’Or winner who joined Juventus some years ago, has netted 86 goals for them so far,  450 for Real Madrid, 118 for Manchester United, 102 for Portugal and 4 for Sporting, where his career as a professional footballer begun.

CR7 as he is affectionately called, is 35 years old, and is now the highest goal scorer for both club and country as his tally stands at 760 official goals.

His biggest rival in football, Lionel Messi, has 719 goals, also making it into the top five goal scorers of all time, as Josef Bican has 759, Pele with 757 and Romario 745.
