SOS International based in Kentucky, USA has made life-saving donations of medical drugs and equipment for VRA spillage victims in the North Tongu constituency.
The items valued at US$110,000.00 (GHS1.4million) arrived in great condition by air cargo and have been promptly cleared with all duties paid.
The MP for the constituency, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa honoured the support.

Below is the list of the donated items:
1. Diabetes Medication- Metformin 500mg- 90,000 tablets
2. Hypertension Medication – Amlodipine- 120,000 tablets
3. Soluble Aspirin- 132,000 tablets
4. Digital BP machines- 30 pieces
5. Infrared thermometers- 100 pieces
6. Pulse Oximeters to check pulse and Oxyget saturation- 100 pieces
7. Digital scales- 29 pieces
8. Nebulizers for Asthma- 9 pieces and 50 disposable sets
9. PPEs- Large amount of masks, aprons etc
10. POP fibre glass material for managing fractures complete with bandages, cotton rolls, and a large amount of wound dressings.
