South Tongu MP Supports Adidome Unity Ladies Football Club
Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, Member of Parliament for South Tongu, has demonstrated his commitment to supporting sports development by donating to the Adidome Unity Ladies Football Club. On August 18, 2025, he presented the team with two bags of 50kg perfumed long grain rice, a set of jerseys, and an undisclosed amount of money.
During a visit to the team’s training session on August 13, 2025, Hon. Lukutor was impressed to see about 10 of his constituents, including the club president, actively participating in the team. He encouraged the young players to stay focused on their goal of becoming football stars, emphasizing the importance of balancing sports with education and apprenticeships. He also advised them to avoid social vices that could hinder their progress.
The MP’s gesture was complemented by Mr. Kofi Abotchie, CEO of Dela Radio 105.7, who promised the club a set of branded jerseys on behalf of the radio station. Mr. Abotchie emphasized the importance of discipline in sports, encouraging the players to maintain good behavior and a strong work ethic .
