Speaker of Parliament accepts Ablakwa’s resignation from Appointments Committee

The Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has accepted the resignation of Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa from the Parliament’s Appointments Committee.
The North Tongu Constituency Member of Parliament earlier wrote to the Speaker of Parliament and the Minority Leader, Haruna Idrissu on Tuesday night to officially Inform them of his resignation from the Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Personal ground and principles.

Announcing the Speaker’s acceptance of the resignation, Mr. Ablakwa said he has concluded a fruitful and frank meeting with Rt. Hon. Speaker Alban S.K. Bagbin a while ago.
The MP added, he’s enormously grateful to the Speaker for accepting his resignation from the Appointments Committee of Parliament.
