Statistics of WASSCE candidates obtaining A1- C6 from 2015 to 2020

The Ministry of Education has released a detailed statistics of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) of candidates.
The comparative data analysis has detailed the percentage of WASSCE candidates obtaining A1-C 6 from 2015 to 2020.

According to the statistics, 2020 is the only year in the past 6 years that more than 50% of the candidates obtained A1 – C6 in all the core subject areas.
The percentage analysis of the 2018 and 2019 in English Language have declined as against 2016 and 2017.
The trend of increasing performance in the Mathematics from 2015 to 2020 has fallen in 2018, though the percentage rate was better than the performance of 2015, 2016 and 2017.
