Teacher Unions write to GES on the Payment of Professional Development Allowance
Leaders of Pre-Teetiary Teacher Unions
The Teacher Education Union in Ghana, namely: Ghana National Association of Teachers, Coalition of Concern Teachers, Ghana National Association of Graduate Teachers have written to the Ghana Education Service on the payment of the professional development allowance for teachers in the country.
In a letter dated 12th September, 2022, the unions reminded the Ghana Education Service about the payment of professional development allowance for teachers for the 2022 financial year.
PAYMENTOF CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) ALLOWANCE
We the Teacher Unions, officially write to remind you of the 2022 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Allowance for Teaching Staf of Ghana Education Service as provided for in Section 16.0 of the 2020 Collective Agreement for Teaching Statf within the Ghana Education Service.
It is our hope that, the CPD Allowance would be puid before the end of 31-” December, 2022
