Teachers ask to present documents to sue GES; Legacy salary arrears can’t be forgotten arrears

A group/coalition of teachers calling itself Innovative Teachers says the accumulated legacy salary arrears of teachers can never be forgotten arrears. The group is therefore calling on affected teachers across the country to present their documents to sue the Ghana Education Service in Court.
It appears to INNOVATIVE TEACHERS that the salary arrears from 2012 to 2016 is strangely becoming an irrelevant matter.
According to them, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has been playing games with teachers over the years and enough is enough.
In a statement, the INNOVATIVE TEACHERS is rallying all teachers who are owed salary arrears to sue GES in a court of law to demand the payment of the salary arrears. It is only through the law Court that all teachers will be paid including interest on the salary arrears owed to each teacher.
‘INNOVATIVE TEACHERS is happy to announce that we have received information from some teachers who are owed salary arrears from 2012 to 2016 and our lawyer is still waiting for those who are yet to bring their information.”
