Teachers Can Now Submit Electronically Prepared Lesson Notes

Teachers employed by the Ghana Education Service as part of their duties are mandated to prepare and submit lesson notes to the heads of their institutions weekly.

However, there has been a disagreement as to whether teachers are allowed to submit electronically prepared lesson notes.

Following this disagreement, the Ghana Education Service has released a statement in which the service indicated that teachers across the country can present both handwritten and electronically prepared lesson notes in both printed and email forms.

LESSON NOTES PREPARATION FOR TEACHERS IN THE GHANA EDUCATION SERVICE

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has become aware of some misunderstanding between heads and their teachers in some schools in respect of lesson notes preparations.

Regional Directors are to bring to the attention of District / Municipal / Metropolitan Directors of Education to ensure that all heads of schools (Basic and Second Cycle) accept both handwritten and electronically prepared lesson notes in both printed and email forms.
