Registrar of the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat Hon. Kingsley Agyemang says teachers especially those from underprivileged and underserved communities must be given the necessary support, motivation, and the requisite training to function effectively.
According to him, teachers have huge influence on students, that, the role of teachers in the educational ecosystem cannot be overlooked.
Speaking at a program themed “Bouncing Back in Unity Through Excellent Education Delivery.”, Hon Kingsley Agyemang implored the participation and collaboration of all stakeholders in education delivery especially teachers to help raise great students in our various societies and country as a whole.
He made the statement at the Eastern Regional Education Excellence Awards program which was held at the Cultural Centre in Koforidua.
In his speech, Hon Kingsley pointed out to the various developmental projects that have gone on under his watch in a number of institutions in the Abuakwa south municipality.
He stated “Teachers have a huge influence on students, especially, those from underprivileged and underserved communities and therefore must be given the necessary support, motivation, and the requisite training to function effectively.”
He admonishes both teachers and students to give their all to make teaching and learning successful.
