The Bond Breaking Event between Ghana’s Music Titans: Shatta Wale and Sarkodie

The strong bond between Ghanaian music stars Shatta Wale and Sarkodie has faced problems, leaving fans curious about their falling out.

The issue began with the Glo Mega-Concert on October 25, 2018, a significant event that marked a turning point for Shatta Wale and Sarkodie’s relationship.

The two were influential figures in Ghana’s music scene, and their collaboration was highly valued.

Initially, they both demanded $150,000 for their performances in the Glo deal, showing their close bond.

Unfortunately, things went awry during the deal’s execution. Sarkodie, for undisclosed reasons, accepted GH¢120,000, which was $20,000 less than agreed upon. This difference in payment led to dissatisfaction.

Shatta Wale was paid $131,000 rather than the promised $150,000, stressing their relationship even more. This decision harmed his self-esteem and professional reputation.

The financial differences and misunderstandings that resulted from the Glo contract caused a schism between the two performers.

Shatta Wale expressed his dissatisfaction, admitting that he thought they deserved more money. This incident strained their friendship and unity.
