Togbe Sakpiti V marks one year anniversary with top achievements

Togbe Komla Sakpiti V of Awadiwoe-Kome, Bakpa, a sub chief of Bakpa Traditional Area in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region has marked his one year anniversary with top achievements.
In commemorating the day of entoolment, Togbe Komla Sakpiti V who is poised towards the development of Bakpa Awadiwoe-Kome and its adjourning communities has listed some of his achievements so far.
He explained that, his outfit has commenced some self-initiated projects and lobbied for some key supports from Non-Governmental Organizations, philanthropists in order to help develop his catchment areas.

Togbe Sakpiti noted that, since his coronation, he has established Educational Fund named SAKPITI EDUCATIONAL FUND which has extended support to four tertiary students in just a year.
According to him, he has lobbied for two outboard motors with free fueling to ease movement of students who cross the Volta Lake to and from school everyday.
He has also assisted in free donation of exercise books, pens and pencils to students of the D/A Primary school, Awadiwoe Kome.

Togbe Sakpiti added that, he has donated the very first computer to school since its inception.
Summing it up, he has also extended support to needy but brilliant students in Senior High Schools who hails from the area.
Togbe Komla Sakpiti V who is known as Mr. Godwin Edzor Fenuku was coronated as the chief of Bakpa Awadiwoe-Kome and a Warlord for the people of Bakpa Traditional Area on Sunday, 6th June, 2021.
Coverghana.com.gh can report that, it has been some twenty five (25) years since the late Togbe Sakpiti has traveled to the ancestors and convincing the new coronated chief to take up his responsibility has proven futile.
It is a positive news to the elders and residents of the area for successful installation and coronation of Mr. Godwin Edzor Fenuku as their new Chief.
It is said that, Togbe Komla Sakpiti V has been playing hide and seek with his elders until he was captured on his arrival at a funeral in the community thus Awadiwoe-Kome.
Even though he was the North Tongu Constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he officially closed his doors on partizan politics so as to take up Royal responsibility.
The former formidable and hardworking NDC Constituency Youth Organizer has pledged his allegiance to the elders and people of Awadiwoe-Kome, Bakpa.
